Canine Fitness and Fun Center allows dogs to come to swim, play and exercise in our state of the art, 9000 sq ft indoor/outdoor facility. Dogs love water and swimming is not only fun and great exercise, but is beneficial for hip dysplasia, arthritis, elbow dysplasia, degenerative joint disease, sports injuries, obesity, pain or discomfort. (We do not practice physical therapy of any kind here at Canine Fitness and Fun Center.)

Keeping dogs active while at the CFFC is our goal and we do so by stimulating them with several activities through out the day. Four separate play areas allow for specialized groups for tiny tots, active, or mild tempered dogs. Engaging equipment is in each area to keep dogs active through out the day, and of course our amazing pool is used to keep your dogs time with us enjoyable and beneficial.

Canine Fitness and Fun Center provides full day care for clients wishing to drop
their dogs off in the morning and pick them up in the evening as well as drop in play
times throughout the day.

On your way to the health club or just out to run errands, let us exercise your dog while you work out yourself. Canine Fitness and Fun Center offers drop in times for ½ hour swims and 2 hour "power hours" that include group play and a ½ hour swims.

Do you love working with Dogs, this may be the perfect position for you!

Kennel Cough Update and Information:

It is that time of the year again when Kennel Cough is more prevalent. The change of season can be cause for dormant cells to activate. Kennel Cough (Bordetella) can be contracted in a variety of settings including Pet stores, Veterinary Clinics and Doggy Daycares. Unfortunately, the Bordetella vaccine only protects against some of the hundreds of potential viruses and does not always protect against all of the strains (Similar to the human flu vaccine). Although we do require all dogs to have the vaccine every 6 months. Not all dogs will be protected against all strains. Please be sure your vaccine is up to date prior to attending daycare.

Canine Fitness and Fun Center has seen several dogs with cases of Kennel Cough. Whether or not the virus was contracted at our facility can not be known, however what we would like you to know is that we have taken every precaution necessary. We strive to provide a clean, safe and healthy facility for your pets, and assure you that we are doing all that is possible to make sure we cover all of our bases.

If your dog begins to show signs of a coughing (or gagging as to vomit), sneezing, low appetite, or runny nose, please avoid daycare and public places with your pet as it is highly contagious. Like a common cold, it must run its course and can typically last 7-10 days. Veterinarians have seen some respiratory infections with this most recent case of Kennel Cough so we do recommend you see your vet if symptoms occur. Dogs may return to daycare 3 days after the cough has ended completely.

We thank you for your business, understanding and consideration and know that we will always keep you informed about such important issues. Please read the attached brochure about Canine Cough (Kennel Cough) to answer additional questions or feel free to call with any questions you may have.
